Do you know how to graft on the needles? You knit a stitch, pull the loop out, purl a stitch pull the loop out, and so on. No darning needles. If you’re interested, I can send directions, although if you aren’t tired, I bet you can figure it out on your own.

I am fighting the urge to start a pair of socks because your pre-ordered book arrives next week. (I could do two pairs I suppose, but there’s a couple of WIPs I’m trying to finish.) Really looking forward to the new stuff. Glad to know the kitty will be well taken care of while you’re on the road. Didn’t realize that Lucy is being spoiled by two rather than one.
